Jesse Alexander is a plein air painter whose work is rooted in a lifelong immersion in the natural world. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia among three generations of artists, he developed an early sensitivity to landscape. Wandering woods, tracing creeks, and observing the quiet rhythms of the outdoors.

Working on location, Alexander paints directly from nature, capturing fleeting light, shifting weather, and the immediacy of place. Each work translating not just what is seen, but what is felt. As Creative Director of The Explorers Club, he has further deepened this connection, reinforcing a philosophy rooted in exploration, presence, and respect for the natural world.

Now based in Brooklyn, he continues to develop his plein air practice grounded in patience, attention, and a return to the essential act of seeing.
