Jesse Alexander is a plein air painter whose work is rooted in a lifelong immersion in the natural world. Working on location, Alexander paints directly from nature, capturing fleeting light and seeing what is felt. As a creative director for The Explorers Club, he has further deepened this connection, reinforcing a philosophy rooted in exploration, presence, and respect for the natural world.

Hudson Valley Time Travel

Landscapes surrounding @olanafredericchurch and @thomascolesite exhibited at 314 Warren in Hudson, NY in the Summer of 2026.

Working en plein air, responding to the same terrain but through a modern lens. These works explore landscape as a shared space across time an ongoing collaboration between artists. As leading figures of the Hudson River School nearly two centuries earlier, Cole and Church helped define an American vision of landscape that viewed nature as a source of wonder, reflection, and a place to be preserved.
